Summary:  I am currently living in St. Louis, MO and am working at a Children Psychiatric Hospital as a Recreation Therapist (www.recreationtherapy.com) for the State of Missouri. I received my BA in 2006 from the University of Northern Iowa (www.uni.edu) in Leisure, Youth, and Human Services with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation and I am now working towards a Masters of Business Administration at Fontbonne University (www.fontbonne.edu) as well as becoming a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. My near future plans are to receive my MBA, get married, start a family, and become a CEO or Director of a Psychiatric Hospital or Family Service Agency of some sort and most importantly move closer to home!

Summary: After graduation I joined the Army. I went to basic training in Ft Benning, GA. Once completed I went to my duty station in Friedburg, Germany. Shortly after I was deployed to Baghdad, Iraq for a year. Currently I am in Germany. Coming up in 2005 my unit will be going to Korea to train a unit and then planning on deploying to Iraq for a second time. Summary - I have recently moved to Kansas City (4/06) and I love it so far.  I am working at an ABC news station here and it's great.  I am still working third shift, but it's a great station.  Recently, I worked at KCRG-TV 9 in Cedar Rapids for two years producing the morning show there.  I graduated from the University of Iowa in May 2004 with a double major in Journalism and in Communication Studies.  I landed my job at KCRG before graduation.  I started as an intern there and the position opened about 6 weeks into my internship.  So, I jumped right into it.  I was married to my husband, Eric, on June 7, 2003.  He is a finish carpenter and loves to learn new things... he currently does such things as finish carpentry in new homes, remodels and new additions.  No kids yet, just one cat… but kids will come some day.  For now, I'm just a proud aunt of 2 nieces and 3 nephews.  I still keep in touch with Anne Monroe, Chris (Monroe) Sanderson (she's family now), David Stockman and Pat Keehner.  Drop me an e-mail if you ever have the inside on a good news story!

Summary:  Upon graduation I attended Coe College in Cedar Rapids, IA.  During my time at Coe I was involved in student government, golf, and nightly beer tasting.  I majored in Art and Education.  I decided to put a hold on teaching and have become very passionate about the art gallery scene.  A move to Colorado gave me the opportunity to build on this career.  With Director experience under my belt I moved to Chicago and am working at a gallery on Michigan Ave.  I currently live with my fat cat.

Summary:  I graduated from Upper Iowa University in '96 with a B.A. in Elementary Education and a B.A. in Art Education (with a Fine Arts Emphasis). My Army Reserve unit was closed in '96 so I opted out. I then went on to Iowa State University and graduated in '98 with a M.A. in Art Education.  I taught one year at Highland Middle & High School in Riverside, Iowa ("the future birthplace of Capt. James T. Kirk" - from Star Trek) and then moved to Florida, where I have been teaching at Pinellas Central Elementary ever since (http://it.pinellas.k12.fl.us/Teachers5/oglej/ ). I married my very lovely wife, Cathy (who is a Kindergarten teacher), in 2001 and we had Alex, our adorable little boy, in 2005. I enjoy reading (philosophy, psychology, spirituality, and Eastern poetry), swimming in my saltwater pool, long strolls along beautiful trails, beach sunsets, listening to obscure music, making obscure music, creating spiritual/humorous art, strong gourmet fairtrade shade-grown organic coffee, any family time together, eating organic vegetarian foods, and all of the precious moments hung between. I worked for a local investment bank as a research analyst for six years. Since 2005 I have been working for Citibank. Currently I am the manager of one the Citibank branches in Turkey. Summary: I am the wife of Troy Glawe and the mother of 2 sons (Liam and Logan). In 2001 I began to search for my true purpose in life (besides those mentioned above). In the winter of 2002 I realized that I had already been given the most wonderful purpose that I could have ever asked for, and that was, that in the course of my life I had become spiritually intuitive. I decided to use my abiIity to give those who seek confirmation that their loved ones are still around them, something only they can understand, the gift of knowing they are alive in God's light. I have given many readings to people not only from this area, but around Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Colorado (And of course my mother - in Arizona!) as well. I am also proud to be serving my faith community as a member of the Peace and Justice Committee for St. Joseph's Church in Elkader Iowa, and I have taught and assisted teaching the Religious Education classes there.

Summary:  After my husband, Joseph, retired from USN, we returned to his hometown.  I am a math teacher in the freshman academy at the local county high school. I love teaching!!  I am sure that shocks some of you.  Many would have never dreamed that I would become a teacher, especially a MATH teacher.   I have four children, Karrie is nineteen and living in Missouri on her own.  Our three boys, Ezekiel (8), Jeffrey (6) and Nathaniel (2) keep us very busy.  The two oldest boys play baseball and football which keeps us very busy in spring, summer and fall.  Overall, I am very blessed and enjoying life!

Summary:  After graduation in May of 1986, I hooked up with an agency to find a job as a live in Nanny some where around the world, finally in October of 1986 found one in Buffalo Grove Illinois was with that family for 2 years, than on to the next family in Denville New Jersey was with that family  for 1 year than on too the last family in Highland Park Illinois for 2 years. Moved back to McGregor, Iowa and worked @ McGregor Loud Speaker in PDC., for 6 months and finally got a job with Fred Carlson in Waukon, Iowa doing road construction work for the summer and than finally got a job @  the old Ioco gas station in McGregor. Finally met my mate Steve and we had our son David in September of 1994, than worked at The Little Switzerland Inn as I was working there we moved to Monona Iowa to a farm where Steve was the hire hand there and ohhh yuk stinking cows than moved back to Marquette and I staying home being a  stay home mom than back to McGregor and still just being a mom than worked at The Food Pride Bakery in PDC, finally  than I was working at The Windsor Place cleaning rooms during this time was injured by getting kicked from a horse and nearly lost my right leg and finally healed up from the injury and than we bought our first home at 404 Ann Street in McGregor where I opened up my own bed and breakfast and named it Ann Street Inn and loving every minute at this job till it got to be too much for a work load to me and now can't work and now in  2004 permanet stay home mom and doing some day care in our home in McGregor Iowa and loving it and enjoying my little 4th grader age 10 David and full of energy and just plain full of life he sure keeps on our toes...

Summary: I have been happily married to Charlie David (M-F-L Class of 1976) for nearly 25 years.  We have lived in Texas and Illinois, but mostly we love Iowa.  This fall I will start my 20th year of teaching. After 15 years of middle schoolers, I moved down to 3rd/4th grade and I love it just as much!  I teach in the East Marshall School district.  I also help brand new teachers acclimatize to teaching (and in some cases encourage them to leave the field) through my work as our district mentor coordinator.  I also train Well-Managed Classroom for Boys' 

Town, and Cognitively Guided Instruction (the new Iowa Math initiative).  This summer we built a teardrop camper and have been putting lots of miles on it.  Sure beats putting up a tent every single night!

Summary:  Joy (Meyer, graduated in 1978) and I own a home in Toledo, IA, but are considering a move to Idaho.  We have spent a fair amount of time there, and could see ourselves living amongst the potatoes for awhile.  We'll see. I graduated from UNI in 1995 and worked as a supervisor at Meskwaki Bingo and Casino for about 11 years.  8 years ago I started using my teaching degree at Grinnell High School teaching Industrial Technology, and love every minute of it! (I think Joy would probably tell you a different story about my first year or two.) During the summers we travel as much as possible.  This summer we built a teardrop camper, and although haven't been able to take it on a long trip yet, we will next summer.  In my spare time, I love building furniture for our house, playing and training our two lab puppies, and watching the history channel. I spend a lot of time attending my students' activities, and really enjoy just sitting and talking with kids.

Summary:  As a retired educator, I live with my wife, Alix.  In my "retirement days", I volunteer with the American Red Cross as a Public Affairs Specialist; I also work part-time as a grant writer/fundraiser for Iowa Rivers Chapter, American Red Cross, located in Marshalltown.  As well, I am an active supporter of Marshalltown Main Street as grantwriter, a member of the Optimist Club, and a board member of the Marshall County Conservation Board.  I enjoy trout fishing, playing bridge and blackjack, and travelling.  Alix and I are the proud parents of three young adults, Ross, 27, Tana, 26, and Scott 25.  Respectively, they are a Product Specialist with American Family Insurance in Chaska, MN., an Art Director for 451.com in Miami Beach, and a 2nd Lt. Summary:  After I retired from Ellsworth Community College, Sue and I moved to Southwest Missouri to be closer to the lakes of southern Missouri and northern Arkansas.  Sue continues to work for Edward Jones Investment Co.  Our daughter, Wendee is a Speech and English instructor in the Denver, CO, school system.  Jason, our son, is an investment representative also with Edward Jones Investments and is based out of St. Louis, MO.
We still journey to Clayton County to spend some time on the farm and to visit friends and relatives.

Summaries:  USAF (1963-1985), mostly a Security Police Officer. Retired in ABQ, but Jo says Jim has failed retirement 3 times. Worked for the Bernalillo County Detention Center, State Children Youth and Families at Juvenile Probation Officer, City of Albuquerque Police Department as Program Manager; State of NM Department of Public Safety; and now a City’s Emergency Manager.
Jo retired from Qwest Communications in 2001. She now spends her time babysitting for grandkids ( 6 in Texas, 2 in Silver City NM), and sewing for church group.

Summary:  Was in Army 1965-67.  Graduated in structural engineering from Washington State University.  Employed by The Boeing Company until I retired in 2002.  Was executive in charge of start up of new plants and closure of old ones.  I have three sons.  Andrew (1974) works for the state social services in Denver.  Peter (1979) is a teacher in Dillingham, Alaska.  Thomas (1982) just graduated from Wichita State University and lives in Derby, Kansas.  Mary Jane Welch (Reardon), class of 1964, and I were married in 1999.  I now also have 4 terrific step daughters and their great families.  This includes 10 wonderful grandchildren.  Retired life is great in Arizona.  We think we live in paradise.
